Welcome to chelseaforever.net, a community that is centered around the story of the mythical demi-goddess of Chelsea Parthenos and her band of equal opportunity rebel followers. Our story is one of irreverence, absurdity and about finding common ground for people of all political, ideological and social backgrounds to share and enjoy. To inform you in on how this place came to be, a little history about us may be helpful...

In the spring of 2008, during the heated Presidential primary race, a young reporter asked Chelsea Clinton a question about her father's affairs. Her response was "That's none of your business.", and that response, and the ensuing uproar it caused, gave birth to a thread on a political discussion board entitled "No previous Chelsea thread could hold my insights". That thread, born out of frustration more than anything else, evolved into a long running piece of political satire and absurd humor. A mythical world was created, a magical place that is inhabited by grilled Barbies, dead palominos, a Jedi Squirrel Army, a Kitty Militia and an offog, amongst other things. It became a haven in a maelstrom of political, partisan bickering, a place where people from all corners of the political spectrum could come and laugh about the absurdity in the world, and laugh about themselves...

Since then, the story has undergone many twists and turns, but the central idea has not changed. We firmly believe that despite differences in opinion on whatever topic is being discussed, all viewpoints and ideas are welcome. We also believe that freedom of expression should have no limits, except for respect. We are a passionate, spirited, and at the same time "laid back" gathering of individuals, whose common goal is to stimulate and exercise our minds through civil debate, discussion and humor. Especially humor.

We would like to share our story with you, and perhaps in doing so you can offer us further insights into the world today. We welcome all, and we shall endeavor to persevere in our efforts to make you feel at home. We are all equals here.
